Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB)
After landing at Colombo CMB airport and meeting your tour guide, you will proceed to Dambulla city, the hub of the island's cultural triangle, through the breathtaking Sri Lankan countryside. You will make a stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage en route. This facility was first established to protect and care for wild elephants who were found wandering about Sri Lanka's forests. When the elephants arrive to take a bath in the local river, it is usually a memorable occasion.
